SPR-4600: Impacts to Traffic Behavior from Queue Warning Truck – Current Pilot Project
Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is implementing a pilot project using traffic queue warning (TQW) trucks for advanced warning of traffic queues on selected interstate projects The objective of this proposal is to develop guidelines for placement considerations adjacent to exits, procedures for monitoring impact of diverting traffic, and assessment protocols for monitoring the effectiveness of TQW on the Interstate.
