Student Leadership Summit – University Transportation Centers Open Competition
There is a need to increase the number of students interested in transportation. This grant will provide support to the KU ITE Student Chapter with direct support to plan and host the Midwestern and Great Lakes Districts Student Leadership Summit to be held in Fall 2020. Further, this grant will provide support for the KU ITE Student Chapter's regular annual activities including travel to the Midwestern district meeting and support for monthly chapter meetings. Additionally, this grant will provide direct funding to the School of Engineer’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to attract and retain talented minority students in engineering.
