Alternative High Early Strength Concrete (HESC) Structural Overlays
The objective of this research project is to identify the obstacles or impediments to successfully and reliably using High Early Strength Concrete (HESC) for structural bridge deck overlays on Oregon bridges and to develop the standards, specifications, processes, and practices necessary to using them on Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) bridges.
