SPR-4420: Estimating Strength from Stiffness for Chemically Treated Soils
Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) requires that mix designs for chemically stabilized subgrades be based off of compressive strength. This research study will aim to improve the process of mix design and construction for chemically subgrade stabilization by determining correlation between strength and stiffness. Also, guidelines for the applicability of chemically stabilized subgrade based on project specific conditions will be provided.
