Evaluation of Slurry Box, Underbody Scraper, and Two-Way Reversible Plow
Minnesota Department of Transportation's (MnDOT's) Office of Maintenance wishes to learn if three promising winter maintenance technologies from equipment manufacture Henke are worth the investment: a V-box salt slurry spreader with a removable conveyor hopper, a reversible underbody scraper, and a two-way reversible plow. By evaluating these units on Minnesota's highways, MnDOT can collect quantitative performance measures and gather qualitative comments from operators, maintainers, and managers about how well the hardware performs.
