Implementation of Geosynthetic-stabilized Roadways for Base Course Reduction: Field Monitoring and Design Recommendations
This implementation project supports the ongoing reconstruction of segments of IH10 near San Antonio. The researchers will use geogrid stabilization to aid in design of roadway sections allowing for reduced base course thickness. They will support the design, construction, monitoring and data interpretation of pavement test sections to be constructed in IH10 using multiple geogrid products.
