SPR-4429: Use of LRFR Methodology for Load Rating of INDOT Steel Bridges
The purpose of the proposed research is to examine the limitations and results for five different strength limit states for older Indiana highway bridges that were designed by ASD or LFD, but are load rated using LRFR using the AASHTOW are Bridge Rating software package. Based upon the results, recommendations will be formulated to provide guidance on modifications suggested for use of the LRFR software or corrective actions that must be taken.
