SPR-4414: Use of Geosynthetics on Subgrade and on Low and Variable Fill Foundations
The aim of the project is to create the knowledge necessary to use geosynthetics properly to benefit INDOT and to encourage INDOT to use them in construction. The project builds on the current design procedures and specifications that INDOT has and complements them for the applications of interest to the project, namely: subgrade improvement, subgrade foundation, embankment foundation, and construction of fill on poor or wet soils.
