Development and Testing of High / Ultra-High Early Strength Concrete for durable Bridge Components and Connections (2.5)

The main goal of this project is the development of non-proprietary concrete mixtures with high and ultra-high mechanical and durability performance. In collaboration with ConnDOT and concrete material suppliers from the New England area, mix design solutions will be sought tailored towards workability, mechanical and durability performance as well as cost. Regular meetings will ConnDOT and industry partners will ensure that their constraints, interests and ideas will be considered.
