Extreme Flood Vulnerability Analysis
This project will build on the pilot to integrate key climate change vulnerability metrics from the 2014 study into decision-making at the agency using such tools as BRIM and TAMS: implement the Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan's System Stewardship strategies and related work plan items to identify vulnerabilities and assess risks to the transportation system; use data to identify and minimize climate-related risks to the state highway network; and advance MnDOT's risk-based asset management planning.
