SPR-4321: Evaluation of Our Current and Other Available Anti-Icing/De-Icing Products Under Controlled environmental Conditions to Test Effectiveness
INDOT removes ice and snow from more than 28,000 lane miles of highways to protect public safety. This project will synthesize information from the literature and other agencies to evaluate effectiveness and environmental impacts of available anti-icing and de-icing products. The expected project deliverables include a summary report and recommendations on the most cost-effective anti-icing and de-icing products to support INDOT’s efforts to improve highway safety.
