Airport Passenger Terminal Design Library—UPDATE to ACRP WebResources 2

The objective of this research is to update and maintain ACRP WebResource 2 by providing the following: (1) Recommendations for improvement of the internal and external search capabilities (see Special Note E). This includes, but is not limited to: (a) Grouping the documents by common topics (e.g., those contained in ACRP Report 25); (b) Introducing the ability to search by popular tags; and (c) Improving the search engine optimization (SEO) of the documents.    (2) A process for keeping the WebResource 2 current with ACRP and non-ACRP related documents.   (3) Update and maintain the content of the WebResource 2 over the next 3 years, to include the abstracts and an index of new ACRP and non-ACRP research documents and guidelines related to airport terminal planning and design.  Note: Examples of non-ACRP related research include terminal planning and design standards and documents published by IATA, FAA, TSA, ICAO, ACI, and others. (4) A mechanism for users to suggest new documents to include in the WebResource 2.   (5) A determination of which of the related ACRP documents need updating or consolidating—if updates or additional research is needed, create new research problem statements for future consideration (see Special Note B). The targeted audiences of this research are airport practitioners, including airport staff, planners, engineers, architects, consultants, developers, financial planners, airline facilities personnel, academicians, and students.
