GAO-Best Practices in Permitting Oversize Vehicles

NCHRP 08-97 study that is referenced in the response is scheduled to be completed on May 8 2016.  Results will be analyzed and best practices extracted most relevant to States. Communicate this to States which may include an informational website presentations and outreach to permitting offices.
