NCHRP Implementation Support Program. Dissemination of “NCHRP Domestic Scan 14-01: Leading Management Practices in Determining Funding Levels for Maintenance and Preservation”
The U. S. Domestic Scan Program is intended to facilitate information sharing and technology exchange among the states and other transportation agencies, and to identify actionable items of common interest. Scan 14-01 "Leading Management Practices in Determining Funding Levels for Maintenance and Preservation" investigated funding allocation practices within transportation agencies that have successfully ensured reliably adequate funding to support delivery of efficient and effective maintenance programs. A description of the program and the Scan 14-01 report are available by clicking here. This activity entailed planning, facilitation, and documentation of a peer-exchange workshop designed to enhance awareness of the scan-team's findings and accelerate dissemination and adoption of the practices the team judged to be advances in current practice.
