Evaluation of Service Life Design of Bridges
Project cancelled. This project will collect behavior information for two uniquely designed bridges on I35 and compare the impact of used service life design procedures. The project will also collect information needed to complete service life designs of other bridges. This will be done using a specific system known as Bridge Engineering Condition Assessment System (BECAS) Developed by Iowa State University through collaboration with the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and others.
