Calibration of the AASHTO Pavement Design Guide to SC Conditions - Phase II
The overarching goal of this multi-phase research effort is to reduce design bias and increase precision of the model predictions used in Mechanistic Empirical Design Guide (MEPDG) with full consideration of South Carolina local conditions. The objective of Phase II will be to build upon the studies in Phase I to obtain local calibration factors and improve distress predictions by collecting new data of high priority.
