Assessment of Field Infiltration Performance of Swales in Comparison to Minnesota Swales Calculator Estimates
The overall goal of this research is to confirm the roadside swales infiltration estimates by the Minnesota Swales Calculator by field measurements at several locations. Specific objectives include: collecting and reviewing site information at selected stations for monitoring; establishing the monitoring stations and systems; collecting rainfall, runoff, and flow data at the stations to verify that the monitoring systems are operating as designed; assisting with the analysis to compare field measurements and calculator estimates.
