The purpose of this project is to develop a training program by capturing knowledge from MnDOT Subject Matter Experts in an area of knowledge that is essential to the functioning of MnDOT in performing its statutory required function of constructing and maintaining the road and bridge infrastructure for the State of Minnesota. South Central College will: A. Conduct a demonstration project for MnDOT to validate the use of a "knowledge book" for use in MnDOT’s knowledge transfer project and training. Any change in the scope as project develops, will be mutually agreed to by both parties. B. Hire a subconsultant to conduct the work of scoping, capturing critical tacit knowledge of critical subject matter experts, and creating Knowledge Books using the Method for Analyzing and Structuring Knowledge (MASK).
