Professional Planner Workforce Development Training Program

Develop a professional transportation planner certificate program to be distributed and monitored by both the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) Extended Learning Systems. The target audience for the certificate program is the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), however by being included in Extended Learning is will be open to all deemed eligible to participate. The prime objective of the program is to coordinate with the American Planning Association (APA) and to develop the course work to help participants pass the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) exam.
