Developing Course Lecture Notes on High-Speed Rail
This project will develop course lecture notes on high-speed rail for United States professionals. Specifically, lecture notes for a semester long course on introduction to high speed rail in the PowerPoint format will be developed. These lecture notes will comprise of modules, each focusing on a specific topic such as track, vehicle, and maintenance. Materials from other countries will be reviewed and adopted in the lecture notes. These materials can be used in teaching in different format. This course will be the first to be used for professionals who need to understand high speed rail and obtain the skills to work on high speed rail.
