Development of an Industry Test Facility and Qualification Processes for Inline Inspection (ILI) Technology Evaluation and Enhancements
The project will standardize a process for evaluating in-line inspection technologies for the energy pipeline industry. The project will complete the design and construction of a highly flexible and modern pipeline pull test facility at Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI's) nondestructive evaluation (NDE) repository, where a range of real world pipeline test samples have been accumulated and are retained to support technology improvements and developments for pipeline inspection.
