Signal Phase and Timing and Related Messages for Connected Vehicle Applications
This project is to identify the necessary interfaces for two-way communication of traffic signal information between the traffic signal controller and a mobile device, provide the concept of operations for the use of the interfaces, and develop prototypes of the interfaces using signal controllers from two different manufacturers. The interfaces and prototypes shall be for use by the connected vehicle applications that require signal phase and timing (SPaT) and its related messages.
