Kinetic-to-Electric Energy Conversion (KEEC)
In phase I, researchers will evaluate existing piezoelectric generation technologies in the laboratory and through mathematical modeling to optimize placement in pavement. In phase II, project site selections will be made for demonstration and evaluation purposes.
