Development of the ALDOT Roundabout Design & Operations Manual
The objective of the proposed project is to develop a guidance manual for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of roundabouts in the State of Alabama. The document will be developed for the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). It is intended to ensure consistency across the State in the implementation of roundabouts at new installations and in the case of retrofit/redesign of existing intersections.
