SPR-3915: Implementing Effective Retrofits in Selected Steel Bridge Details
Development and implementation of effective retrofits in steel bridges is an essential part of INDOT's asset management program. Ineffective retrofits can lead to costly repairs. Incorrect retrofit selection or execution may also result in worse conditions than had the retrofit not been attempted. Based on the latest research and national experience, improved retrofit methods have been developed for retrofitting common problems, which will be the focus of the training developed and provided by this project.
