SPR-3705: Performance Assessment of Road Barriers in Indiana
The project will assess the in-service safety performance of INDOT roadside barriers. The results will complement the existing barrier use criteria and selection methods in Indiana conditions. The results will specify conditions that justify consideration of road barriers, will propose revisions of guidelines for selecting the barrier type, and will provide crash cost modification factors to facilitate economic analyses.
