Research for the AASHTO Standing Committee on Planning. Task 61. Monetary Valuation per Dollar of Investment in Different Performance Measures
This 2007 study reviews existing forms of performance measurement techniques and the types of conversion factors and models being used. It then provides case studies showing how some organizations are increasing the degree to which they are converting performance metrics into dollar terms. Finally, it develops guidance for transportation agencies on useful approaches to improve performance measurement.
