Marketplace Strategy for the Prichard Intermodal Terminal
With methods of best practices for establishing a public-private partnership already in existence, the project team will collect and evaluate the existing literature. This literature will be useful in understanding the development of a public-private partnership for both business development and marketing initiatives for inland intermodal rail terminals. Through evaluating the literature, the best practices will be identified and used in the development of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the West Virginia Public Port Authority, the Virginia Port Authority, and Norfolk Southern.
