Highway Traffic Noise Prediction and Analysis Fiscal Year 2012 through Fiscal Year 2015 Federal Aid to Highway Tasks
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Noise Model (TMN) was developed by the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) for the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA's) Office of Natural Environment to aid in compliance with environmental regulations. The Volpe Center will provide continuing support to this effort by: (1) Completing development and distribution of TMN Version 3.0; (2) Supporting special project analysis and other technical support; and (3) Project management.
