Validation and Calibration of Smart-Growth Land-Use Projects Trip-Generation Rates Spreadsheet

A qualified traffic engineering contractor will collect and assess field-test data to validate and calibrate the trip generation rates ""spreadsheet"" that was developed previously. This is a deployable analysis tool for estimating the quantities and modes of travel associated with proposed urban infill and other land use projects with smart growth characteristics. Equations in the spreadsheet will be adjusted as necessary based on this validation table, and technical assistance will be provided to practitioners on using the spreadsheet for transportation impact analyses of proposed land use projects in California.
