Guidelines for Transit Bus Stop Spacing: Improving Accessibility and Performance
This project is to develop a concise guideline of policies, procedures and analytic templates that transit operators and planners can apply in planning for transit bus stop consolidation or extensions on existing or new routes. The policies embodied in the guide are to help improve accessibility to transit by making it more convenient for users and in so doing help improve the performance of transit operations by reducing cost for operators.
