Innovative Green Highway Construction Rating System in Mississippi
The need for promoting sustainability and green highway construction requires a green highway rating system. To address this need, this research proposes a collaborative and multidisciplinary effort to develop innovative rating system for green highway construction. The primary objective of the proposed research is to develop a green highway rating system for the State of Mississippi. A systemic approach, including decision of criteria, weighting each criterion, and evaluation of trade-offs, will be used to develop a sustainability rating system for highway construction.
