Wireless Broadband for Commuter Rail
This project is a survey of existing products and wireless methods used on existing rail lines; and a technical evaluation of the performance and cost of existing solutions, as compared against developing a full custom design. This research is being executed for the Utah Transit Authority in advance of the opening of a commuter rail line from Salt Lake City to Ogden, in the spring of 2008.
