Washington State 50 Year PCCP Design and Construction
As WSDOT moves towards the reconstruction of portland cement concrete pavements on the Interstate system, it is important to quantify materials and construction practices that provide for both rapid construction and long-lived performance. This project develops a best practices manual that qualifies all of the variables that promote both rapid construction and long lasting pavements. Primary benefit is the construction of pavements that will last 50-60 years.
