Similarly, 1.52 million acres of soybeans were harvested in North Carolina in 2019 valued at > $468 million positioning tobacco and soybean as the two most economically valuable crops in North Carolina (USDA ERS 2020). Preliminary investigations have evaluated crop sensitivity to commonly used herbicides in terms of visual crop injury; however, additional research is needed to quantify the relationship between visual crop injury and yield reduction as ultimately yield is the most consequential measurement. Further, research is needed to investigate additional variables and their impact on potential herbicide movement as well as characterizing movement from herbicide applications along roadsides via appropriate air sampling techniques.]]> Mon, 26 Jul 2021 15:37:01 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1868829 Zoysiagrass Expansion on Roadsides https://rip.trb.org/View/1765387 Tue, 26 Jan 2021 07:54:00 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1765387 Develop soil/media mixes to promote growth of pollinator friendly vegetation in roadside settings https://rip.trb.org/View/1701083 Thu, 23 Apr 2020 15:01:23 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1701083 Enhancing Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management Along North Carolina Roadsides through Characterizing Herbicide Fate. https://rip.trb.org/View/1530093 Thu, 02 Aug 2018 14:36:13 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1530093 Selection, Installation, and Evaluation of Zoysiagrass https://rip.trb.org/View/1473824 Fri, 07 Jul 2017 10:47:28 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1473824 Permanent Vegetation Control Treatments for Roadsides https://rip.trb.org/View/1467313 Thu, 18 May 2017 12:15:49 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1467313 Regional Roadside Turfgrass Performance Testing Program https://rip.trb.org/View/1408379 Sun, 22 May 2016 11:28:42 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1408379 Transforming Roadside Management and Technology Practices for the Benefit of Safety, Ecology, and Economy https://rip.trb.org/View/1407201 Thu, 12 May 2016 10:50:05 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/1407201
