Long-span bridges get special engineering analysis in the design phase, but methods for evaluating them in service are limited. To ensure public safety while sustaining commerce and preserving vital infrastructure, methods for rational load rating, permitting, and posting are essential. Research is needed to help state departments of transportation evaluate their long-span bridges The objective of this research is to develop procedures for load rating, posting, and permitting of highway bridges with spans greater than 200 feet in length. It shall consider all applicable load effects. ]]> Mon, 27 Nov 2023 19:28:48 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2296638 Exploring the Use of Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) as an Evaluation Metric within Virginia’s Transportation Planning Process https://rip.trb.org/View/2289633 Tue, 14 Nov 2023 11:14:40 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2289633 A Comprehensive Evaluation of I-275 Bus-on-Shoulder (BOS) Pilot Project https://rip.trb.org/View/2256382 Thu, 28 Sep 2023 14:52:04 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2256382 Social Norming for Seat Belt use https://rip.trb.org/View/2256371 Thu, 28 Sep 2023 13:26:29 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2256371 Develop and Updated Methodology for Calculation of Reimbursement Levels for Utility Relocations https://rip.trb.org/View/2201924 Wed, 27 Sep 2023 14:10:54 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2201924 Develop an Interactive Statewide Production Rate Estimation Tool for Reliable Contract Time Determination https://rip.trb.org/View/2255820 Wed, 27 Sep 2023 14:01:03 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2255820 Using Electric Vehicle Onboard Data for Pavement Quality Assessment and Management https://rip.trb.org/View/2244269 Tue, 12 Sep 2023 14:01:09 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2244269 A Comprehensive Decision Support Tool for Accelerated Bridge Construction Considering Social Equity https://rip.trb.org/View/2221088 Fri, 28 Jul 2023 08:49:37 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2221088 Evaluation of Post Mounted Delineators and Curve Warning Message Markings https://rip.trb.org/View/2219413 Wed, 26 Jul 2023 08:38:49 GMT https://rip.trb.org/View/2219413
