      <description><![CDATA[The deliverables from the project will be: (1) An engineering process and economic model for ethanol from grass straw that includes the effect of process scale up on natural resource consumption. (2) Life cycle assessment (LCA) and exergy analysis for the grass straw production in Pacific Northwest, specifically Willamette Valley. (3) Effect of endophytes in grass straw on ethanol yields from (4) Four peer reviewed publications (Process modeling, LCA, Exergy analysis and effect of endophyte on ethanol yields) are expected from this research. ]]></description>
