EXPERIMENTAL FEATURE-EVALUATING LONGITUDINAL JOINT COMPACTION TECHNIQUES
Record Type: DOT
The objective of this research project is to investigate longitudinal joint construction techniques. More specifically, compare the use of standard specification methods versus the elimination of the pneumatic roller and how it impacts the density of the centerline joint. The evaluation will be done in conjunction with the longitudinal joint experiment on FIA Route 474.
