Glass Fiber Composite Dowel Bar for Highway Pavement

The objective of this research project is to investigate the long- term performance and fatigue behavior of glass fiber composite dowels. This research will provide designers with a new set of preliminary design criteria for using the Glass Fiber Composite ( GFC) dowels in highway pavement joints as an alternaitve to epoxy coated steel dowels.
